Tricia Crider

I started teaching Spanish in the district in 2010. Before that, I taught 3 years as a middle school Spanish teacher in Prior Lake and 4 years teaching Spanish at a K-8 private school in St. Paul. I double majored in elementary education and Spanish as an undergraduate, and in 2009 I finished my masters in Spanish education. During my studies I participated in two study abroad programs - one in Guadalajara, Mexico and one in Cuenca, Ecuador. I am really passionate about the Spanish language and I also love to incorporate the culture in the classroom. I have traveled to seven different Spanish-speaking countries to really experience the culture for myself that I am able to share with the students.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy vacationing in different parts of the world and scrapbooking all of my travels. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends.
